While we have nearly all the cars for Forza Motorsport 2 announced at this point, including a number of cars that come pre-customized for you, there’s nothing like taking a stock car and making it all your own. That was absolutely one of the original Forza’s strong points, and by the looks of things it will only get stronger in the sequel. The latest update at Forzamotorsport.net shows off some of the customization options available to you, including decals, custom paint colors, and of course layers and layers of vinyl.
In the report they start with a stock color Nissan 350z. After a coat of green paint and some nicely matched gold wheels they start stretching on the vinyl, resulting in the completely customized 350 below. They then go on to turn that vinyl scheme into a livery, applying it to other cars, even those with different colors, quite quickly.
While getting online and competing will surely be one of the main draws of this game, just checking out the beautifully customized cars of some competitors will be incentive enough to go Live.
